Patrice Duhon, MSN, RN, Director of Epic Optimization & Reporting, Christina Yap, BSN, RN, PCCN, Clinical Nurse III on M7, and Noah Wachtel, BSN, RN, Clinical Nurse III on L5 presented at Epic's 2021 Users Group Meeting (UGM), which was Epic's 2021 International Conference under the theme of "Stories of Legend and Lore." Christina and Noah, along with other exceptional clinical nurses, are part of the Epic Optimization Team, a special task force of clinical nurses working to enhance SHC's Epic workflows.

SHC's EOCs shared their experience being in their current role in a presentation entitled, "A Quest for Efficiency: The Tale of the Optimization Coordinators." This dynamic team explained how the Epic Optimization program bridged the gap between IT and nursing, eliciting charting efficiency and improved documentation along with proactive education.
